The Torchbearer’s International Agricultural Science and Technology (TIAST) Group is organizing a conference for all women in agriculture on 17th March, 2022 at Canwin Hotel, adjacent the Junction Mall at 9am prompt.
The conference which will be held in partnership with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and Stanbic Bank will afford the organizations the platform to educate women in agriculture on the numerous advantages embedded in the agricultural sector and the agenda of the organizations to empower women in agriculture by providing financial and technical support for women engaging in agro-processing.
According to TIAST Ghana, women who show interest in the TIAST project would be given a financial assistance of 70-80 percent of the total cost of the agro-processing factory.
Aside the financial assistance, TIAST Ghana has revealed that it is going to provide technical services to women who partner with the company.
Some of the guests announced to be present at the conference are Dr. Afua Asabea Asare, the Chief Executive Officer of GEPA, Mr. Kwamina Asomaning, the Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank, Ms. Paulina Addy, the Director for the Women in Agriculture Development Directorate (W.I.A.D), Mrs. Tina Liu, the Chief Civil Officer of Honghai House, among other speakers.
