The minister for Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said he is not sure when the beneficiaries of the youth driven initiative by the Npp government to address the youth unemployment situation.
The minister was speaking on Joy news on government business today Monday 10th January 2022 which was monitored by www.thenewgh.com .
He further stated that the scheme is preparing to open for application to accept new recruit.
Background
The Nation Builders Corps otherwise known as Nabco was an initiative by the Npp government to address the unemployment situation at the time.
The scheme employed 10,000 graduates into seven modules across various sectors of the economy .
The trainees were to be given ₵700.00 stipends at end of every months for their service to the state.
But since October 2021these trainees have not been paid this allowance.
But the minister in his response has sheltered their dream.
