Residents at Fise on the Suhum Nsawam highway in the Ga West Municipality are calling on the government to construct a footbridge at the junction to reduce the rampant vehicular knockdowns.
According to the residents, the absence of footbridge at the junction has led to accidents, loss of lives, a lot of people including school children are being knocked down by vehicles almost everyday.
In an interview with thenewgh.com news, these residents are calling on the highway authorities and the government to come to their aid before the situation worsens.
‘We will very glad if the government will help construct the footbridge with immediate effect to reduce the number of deaths at the junction they added’.
