The Director of Faculty of Academic Affairs and Research of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Professor. Kwesi Aning, has said that Ghana will continue to witness an increase in crimes if care is not taken.
According to him in an interview today with the Accra-based Citi FM, on Wednesday September 1, 2021, crime has become such a profitable venture in the country hence leading to the rise.
“Crime has become such a profitable venture in this country that we just don’t know what to do”, he said.
He again claimed that, violence has become a currency that those who are more violent have much currency in society. He said, if care is not taken, we are going to experience more of those crimes.

His claims, is however based on the recent relentless killings and armed robbery in the country.
