She said they are to appear at the police station today Thursday 26th August 2021 to assist the police in investigations.
“It’s a father and a daughter we arrested in connection with a chop bar being operated by these two persons. These two persons have been granted bill but they have been cautioned for causing a public nuisance. We are hoping to see them tomorrow (Thursday, August 26, 2021) and then we will continue with an investigation”, she said.
This followed after a viral video showed the two suspects operating a ‘chop bar’ on the pavement of the newly built Pokuase four-tier interchange. The video which showed a man and a woman pounding ‘fufu’ on the pavement caused public outrage which later led to their arrest.
