The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North, Alhaji Yussif Issaka Jajah on Friday, January 7, commissioned three merchanized boreholes in the constituency.
The three merchanized boreholes forms part of the Member of Parliament’s social intervention program for the constituency. The three merchanized are located in the Timber Market (Mafias Parliament), Mamobi East,and Mamobi West electoral areas of the constituency respectively.
The Member of Parliament stated that “It is an initiative designed by my office not only to help meet the water challenges in these areas but to add to the water supply in the constituency in order to ensure that there is adequate supply of water. As essential as water is, these three projects will cater for deficits in water supply in these areas”.
“These water outlets will serve the people for free this means that those without the capacity to pay for water will also have a free source of water for daily use”. The Member of Parliament added.
The beneficiaries of the project expressed their profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament for his hardwork and projects which aims at improving the living standards of the people in the constituency.
Present at the commissioning were Chiefs, Assembly members, opinion leaders and constituency executives of the NDC.
