Students of Umar Bun Hatab School write on “ACTUATE” project

Five students of Umar Bun Hatab Islamic basic school situated in Madina-Zongo in the Madina-La Nkwatanang Municipality in the Greater Accra Region have written articles to express their appreciation of the “ACTUATE” project in their school.

The five students Gator Francis, Daniel Adenyo, Munira Obanga, Naima Abdul Rauf, and Firdaus Abdul Samed all JHS 2 students of the school in a simple but well written articles demonstrated their understanding of the project, the benefits to the school and the community at large.

 

 

The ACTUATE project forms part of Accelerating The Adoption of Circular Sanitation Demonstration System for Improved Health Outcomes program.

 

The project is a partnership between Lancaster University, UK and IIR of the CSIR, Ghana and funded by the Global Challenge Research Funds through UK Research and innovation.

The project comes with a energy producing bio digester and a science lab for Umar Bun Hatab Islamic School.
