A sit-down strike by commercial drivers across the country has left thousands of Ghanaians stranded at the various bus terminals.
The strike is mainly to protest against the high cost of fuel prices currently in the country.
Reports indicates that drivers at Nii Boi Town in the Greater Accra Region had instructed their colleagues to enforce the strike by instructing passengers they had picked to alight.
A lot of commuters along the road are trying to get vehicles but to no avail. There are long queues at bus terminals due to the strike leaving passengers stranded.
