The Member of Parliament for Madina Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu said that the moves by the Police to arrest him is seen as an attempt to obstruct him from his duties as a Member of Parliament.
Mr. Francis Xavier Sosu also disclosed that some strange men follows him secretly and some of these men are more seen around his residence and office.
He is facing trial for his role in a demonstration against bad roads in his constituency.
A statement issued in response to a bench warrant for his arrest on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, the human rights activist, said he considers recent happenings in relation to these as a deliberate attack on his person and family security.
‘’I consider the Police action and the recent bench warrant as a deliberate attack on my person and family security. This is coupled with strange men following me and seen around my residence and office areas, which highly endangers my life, that of my family and workers”.
