The King Zico & Friends #EidwithInmates Initiative on Saturday, April 22, 2023 presented packs of hot meals to inmates at the Madina Divisional Police Command in the La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipality in the Greater Accra region as part of the Eid-ul-Fitir celebrations.
The team, led by Executive Director of the Mother of All Nations Foundation,
Zico Ishaq Abubakar Newton carried out the gesture as part of its yearly support to ensure the inmates are not left out during the joyous Islamic festival known as “The Festival of Breaking Fast”.
The food packs also contained notes of affirmation to express appreciation to the Police for their unwavering commitment to ensuring peace and security, and law and order in the municipality.
The attached note read: “Dear GHANA POLICE SERVICE, We express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication and selflessness in ensuring peace and security in our communities. The Muslim community in Madina and its surrounding areas are immensely thankful for your professional efforts. May Allah protect and bless each and every one of you and your families. Eid-Mubarak to you.

The Executive Director during an interaction with the inmates also encouraged and urged them to be of good behavior during and after their release. He assured them that, they were not forgotten by their families and society and further challenged them to return to society with ambition.
Mr. Ishaq Newton further stated that, “this donation exemplifies how small actions can make a big difference in the lives of those who serve our community on a daily basis. It serves as a reminder of the importance of recognizing and appreciating the efforts of the police in maintaining law and order in our communities.”
On his part, the Station Officer at the Madina Police Command, Mr. Osei Kwabena who received the items on behalf of the station, expressed gratitude for the gesture. He thanked the team for the marvelous act of service. He added that not all will deem it fit to appreciate the work of the police service
