The Ministry of Communications and Digitalization has extended the deadline for the Sim Card Registration which was due to end on March 31st, 2022.
According to a Press release from the ministry, as at 17th March, 2022, just over 14 million Sim cards had been linked to the Ghana Card with over 7.5 million citizens and residents yet to receive a Biometric Ghana Card.
The ministry therefore has decided to extend the deadline to the 31st of July, 2022.
