The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has begun stakeholder engagements in readiness celebrate the annual Kwahu Easter in April this year.
The Kwahu Easter celebration has gained international recognition since its inception is one of the biggest tourism events on the calendar of the Tourism Ministry and culture.
But covid-19 put the annual celebrations on hold for two years now. Kwahu celebrations that bring thousands of people together and also help generate revenue for developmental projects came to a standstill.
In an interview on citi news with the CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr Akwasi Agyeman confirmed that the celebrations will come off this year.
