Sulley Muntari Joins Hearts of Oak.

Accra Hearts of Oak have welcomed former Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari ahead of the second round of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league.

The one-time UEFA Champions League winner joined the Phobians until the end of the current campaign.

After defenders like Konadu Yiadom and Dennis Korsah have signed a two-year deal, Sulley becomes Hearts of Oak’s third signing of the transfer window.

Tye 37-year old has been training with the club and was at the Accra Sorts Stadium to support and give morale to his new club during their matchday 15 Ghana Premier League on last Sunday.

Sulley has played for nine different clubs since leaving boyhood club Liberty Professionals in 2001. It all started at Udinese and went on to play for giants Inter Milan and AC Milan. He excelled at Portsmouth and had stints with Pescara, Deportivo La Coruna and Al-Ittihad Club.

Sulley has won seven trophies such as the Champions League, two serie A titles and the English FS Cup.
