The deputy minister for finance , John Kumah has stated categorically that money has been released to the controller and accountant general department to pay Nabco trainees’ stipends.
The deputy minister who doubles as a legislature for the people of Ejusu in the Ashanti stated this live on GTV during a virtual town Hall meeting to address the issues surrounding the E-levy .
The formal boss for NEIP , said ” funds has been released to controller to pay Nabco”.
However, he was not able to tell when exactly the trainees will be paid their allowance.
…”I am not the one to say that. .” the lawyer and lawmaker said when asked by host the date of payment.
But he supported the claim with a letter authorising the payment in which the date on it was 31st July 2021.
The puzzle now is why should controller withhold the money up till date and where is the money?
