The President of the Ghana Football Association Mr Kurt Okraku is urging Ghanaians to throw support behind the Black Stars in the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cameroon since he sees great hope in the players.
According to the GFA boss, the stars have lost their first match against Morocco but that was very competitive and the players played well but it was unfortunate we lost to the Moroccans.
He further explained that the national has young players that are doing well in the field of play and still believe that the players will deliver as expected.
He therefore called on all Ghanaians to rally support behind the Black Stars because the boys will surely deliver.
“I am very happy about the turn out, the way the players displayed, don’t forget that Moroccans are dispensable, Morocco is one of the toughest side on the continent ”
“I believe that the boys have had good time to recover properly, physically, as you can see now the Captain you saw today was not happy and he is still in pain but I believe that the contemporary team have reviewed the game and are in a better position to go forward, the team will be very, very competitive in the game against Gabonese “ he further stated.
