Earlier today, October 31, 2021, some group of persons believed to be National Security Operatives stormed the Believers House Prayer Ministry at Madina, Ritz Junction to arrest the Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency, Hon. Francis-Xavier Sosu.
This comes after a protest led by Lawyer Sosu on Monday, October 25, 2021 which according to a press release by the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Headquarters, Accra, involved an unlawful blockade of a road and the destruction of public property.
In an information aired by Mr. Edem Agbana, the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a vehicle was parked at the church premises to arrest the Honourable Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency. Mr. Agbana said that the unidentified Security Operatives left the church premises when the youth started coming together to protect their MP.
