A delegation from the Maiden edition of National Qur’anic Recital Competition (NQRC) paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu at his residence, to seek his blessings and support for the program.
The team which was lead by Madam Sumaya Sulemana, the CEO of Ssent Media Concepts, who also doubles as the producers of the show, expressed gratitude to the office of the Chief Imam, for the warm reception.
The Chief Imam offered his blessings and assured his full support to the program.
National Qur’anic Recital Competition brings together children 13 years and below from the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Northern region, to demonstrate their prowess in reciting the Quran from memory to kick start the maiden edition. Other regions will be included in the next edition.
