The second suspect arrested in connection with the Abesim murder, has been released by the Sunyani police.
According to the police upon investigations, the suspect whose name has been withheld was released after they found out he has nothing to do with the murder.
On August 20, this year, the police arrested a 28 year old architect Appiah, for allegedly killing three children and keeping some parts of their body in a fridge in his room. He was alleged to have murdered his stepbrother and two others, aged between 12 and 15 years.
He was however arrested after a relative of one of the victims had reported to the Sunyani Police about his missing son on August 20, 2021. It was after this the second suspect was arrested for allegedly having a hand in the case.
